Howiyaz,
If you know me personally, you’ve definitely heard me going on about MAC’s new Mineralize Moisture Foundation as I eagerly awaited its’ release on March 7th. On Thursday 7th, being the devoted MAC customer I am, I headed straight for Brown Thomas as soon as I was finished in college for the day, and literally LEGGED it to the new counter which holds all their Mineralize range.

So, the basics:
Basically, I LOVE IT. Here’s some before and after shots from using it.
The first picture is my fresh faced and freckly skin (which looks a bit red as I had just gotten out of a hot shower, so beware)

Now, MAC have released this foundation with their 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush. But I used a similar flat-topped stippling foundation brush from http://make-up.ie/

After applying just one layer of this foundation (2-3 pumps), my skin looked luminous with a natural-looking satin finish.

I then applied Select Cover-Up concealer in NW15 with a MAC 286 brush, and set it with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder in ‘Light’

The foundation stayed in place for about 8 hours before I needed to touch it up. And my skin felt silky smooth all day after applying it. So in case you haven’t got the message, this foundation is incredible and is now my favourite foundation for day-wear and I recommend it to EVERYONE, especially those with dry or sensitive skin like me!

This lip balm is the reason I’m beginning to write reviews!
As someone who tends to get quite dry lips during cold weather, (which, living in Dublin, tends to be most of the time), I was forever buying various types of lip balm from different brands, trying desperately to find one that
(a) sorted out the dryness
(b) was thin enough to be worn under lipstick
and (c) doesn’t cost a fortune.
Then, the clouds opened up and down came this lip balm like an angel from heaven.

La Roche Posay’s Nutritic lip balm is unscented, unflavoured, and is really gentle on your lips, no matter how sensitive your skin is. The consistency isn’t too thick which means it doesn’t mix weirdly with other makeup and is a perfect base under the dryest of lipsticks.
Upon applying this balm, your lips feel instantly soothed, and no more than 10 minutes after application, all signs of dryness is gone! (i.e. that weird, gross white stuff that happens when you’re dehydrated)
One of the best things about this product is its price. It retails at around €4 in Ireland, and considering the amount of product in the tube, this price is well worth it! It’s available in most pharmacies and online.
This lip balm has quickly become one of my favourite beauty products and I’ll be using it for many more years to come.
Thanks for reading!

Anonymous asked: if you weren't doing makeup in college, what else would you be doing :)
I’d probably have found a job somewhere doing makeup every day, or done a course in photography or photoshop or something. I also would have loved to do psychology or english, but I only applied to the course I’m doing now. Lucky I got it, ay?
bushybeardz asked: ugh, hate touch.
Tumblr somehow deleted my answer to your question about primer, but I usually use either Rimmel Fix & Perfect PRO primer or Lancome La Base PRO Perfecting primer. For my lips I use MAC Prep + Prime lip primer :)
Anonymous asked: Whats your skin type :)
Pretty dry but I’m obsessed with moisturising so it doesnt bother me much
Anonymous asked: is studio fix foundation good for dry skin?
If you use a good moisturiser it should be fine but I’d recommend Matchmaster foundation :)
