Anonymous asked: Where did you do your makeup course if you don't mind me asking ? Your make up is fab !
I’ve answered this before but I’m currently doing a BA in Design for Stage and Screen Makeup Design in IADT. Other than that, I’m self taught!
Anonymous asked: Do you like the naked palettes? :)
I got the Naked 1 palette recently and so far so good! xo
Anonymous asked: do u do your eyes or face makeup first? :) x
Usually my eyeshadow and eyeliner, then foundation, concealer, powders, then eyebrows, then mascara! xo
Anonymous asked: hey how long does it take you to do clients makeup? :)
At most - an hour and a half. Average time is about an hour but it’s much faster if the client knows exactly what they want! xo
polk4dots-deactivated20140111 asked: HIya Aisling! I was just wondering where you did your training and what was the name of the course you did to become a professional makeup artist? As I would love to be one myself some day! thanks, Sinead xx

Anonymous asked: Where do you get your bindis/facial jewels from? LOVE them x
I get my bindis in Maharani in George’s Arcade in Dublin and my facial jewels from Art n Hobby (or any other arts and crafts store) xo
Anonymous asked: What would be your go to festival makeup picks :)
Definitely suncream/primer/foundation with spf in it and a good lipbalm with spf in it too! Moisturiser is a god send in the mornings as is a good undereye concealer.
If I had to pick three things to bring it’d be concealer, mascara and an eyebrow pencil but I always bring face paints and coloured eyeliner with me too for fun! xo
Anonymous asked: Do you have brushes/products you only use for your freelance kit? i hate using face makeup brushes on clients which i use myself!
Yep I have a set of brushes which I only use on myself and then other brushes for clients! When it comes to product, I never use a product (eg concealer) directly on my place, I’ll pour some out for use so that it’s not contaminated.
Every lipstick I have, I’ve cut half of it off and melted it into palettes and I scrape bits out with disposable spatulas to use on clients so that nothing is contaminated!
For mascara, I use a separate mascara to my own with 4 disposable mascara wands (two for each top set of lashes and two for bottoms) so that I don’t ‘double dip’ the mascara wand into the mascara (which would contaminate it).
Nothing that touches my face directly is used on clients (and vice versa) xo
